You’re invited! Canada’s longest BVLOS Rail Inspection
MARCH 23-24 2022
JOIN AIRmarket at 9 am MDT (11am EST), Wednesday, March 23,2022 to a history-making event. Witness the longest distance BVLOS* rail inspection flight in Canadian history. We are using AIRmarket’s FLYvision and SKYlink UTM products to fly a total of 130 km, which will collect photogrammetry data during the aerial inspection.
This event will take place outside of Edmonton along with Transport Canada. We will be live-streaming this event as well as hosting it in our office in downtown Edmonton. If you’re in the area and able to join us, we would love to see you.
A follow up session on March 24, 2022 will review the data and visual outputs and summarize the impact of this test flight on using BVLOS technology for aerial inspections.

What is BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight)?
BVLOS is a term relating to the operation of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and drones at distances outside the normal visible range of the pilot. BVLOS drone operations provide numerous commercial advantages over regular line-of-sight flying.
