Bringing Innovation to the Skies
As part of our next Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) project, AIRmarket has started Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) RPAS railway inspection activities in partnership with Transport Canada. Significant parts of the CN Rail Lac La Biche subdivision (~246 miles) are being inspected through real time imagery & video streaming and the use of artificial intelligence.
Composed of multiple technology components, the innovation empowers a connected RPAS using the TELUS 4G/LTE network, safely integrated into the northern Alberta airspace from our Operations Control Center (OCC) in Edmonton, AB.
The innovation is a combination of hardware, software, and data analysis processes delivered as a single integrated service offering. The components of this service include:
- AIRTL03 RPAS
- SKYLINK UTM
- SKYLINK Connect
- FLYvision
The innovation is commercially demonstrated for Transport Canada and in alignment with CN Rail.
AIRmarket’s SKYLINK UTM is powered by ASTRA UTM and deployed in strategic partnership with TELUS Communications.
