On April 27, 2022, AIRmarket presented the FLYvision Service to a panel of judges from Imperial Oil’s Kearl OilSands facility.  The event was sponsored by Imperial Oil Limited (Imperial) and organized by the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle, together with the CleanTech Alliance. This virtual event showcased innovative technologies applicable to oil sands mining operations.

There was a focus on technologies or concepts to improve environmental performance and environmental impact of Kearl’s operations – ranging from reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions to activities that support the biodiversity and sustainability mandates at this location.

AIRmarket was selected as a top eight finalist from 40 various applicants. We are pleased to announce that we were selected as the Runner-up for the 2022 CleanTech Challenge.  Our FLYvision Service highlights how the detailed information gathered from strategic unmanned aerial inspections support the variety of initiatives in place at Kearl. Using the FLYvision service showed the judges how they can keep a competitive advantage by using this business intelligence tailored to their exact requirements.
